| | | Welcome | Welcome to Wum Ba!
What is Wum Ba?
Wum Ba is about having fun, supporting all aspects of the game, be it
socializing, pvp, raids, quests, or roleplaying. We are not a hardcore
progression guild trying for server firsts, but we don't back down from
any challenge the game has to offer. We are mature, respectful, and
take care of our own.
The Wum Ba Rules
We play this game to have fun. We are not griefers or lamers or any
other kind of scum that commonly floats to the bottom of the MMORPG
world. If someone is giving you a hard time, let the guild know so that
we can avoid dealing with people who aren't out to play nice. If a
guild member is being a jerk, please try to work it out amicably. If
you cannot, speak to a Chiefling to help resolve the dispute.
Who dun learned you how to spoke?
Please, for the sanity of the guild, use as little "l337 sp34k",
chat shorthand, or what-have-you as possible. Also, please maintain a
reasonable level of maturity in guild chat, party chat, or raid chat.
We understand that not everyone is 100% mature 100% of the time, but
let's aim for at least 80%. Which leads us to our next point...
Maturity/PolitenessNobody is going to be mature in every situation. But please try, at least the majority the time. We're all here to have fun, but that doesn't mean acting like ten year olds. Let's keep real-life political/religious issues out of guild chat, for the safety and sanity of all. Jokes are fine, but let's keep things in good taste.
Hook a Brother Up.
Guild members are encouraged to help their guildmates out wherever
possible (as long as it isn't personally bankrupting you). We
understand that everyone has needs, and we try to extend a helping hand
when we can. Please remember that Wumbank is there to help everyone, so please donate at least as much as you use it.

Our official policies for membership are now posted here.

GuildPortal Change Log Entry
Jan 1, 09 2:16 PM
Just a heads up: due to request, we will be moving back toward integration with WoW in-game roster information via an Add-On, instead of directly connecting to the armory. This will require uploading a saved variables file (instructions will be given) to update your roster info. However, there are many benefits. For one, rank names will again show (instead of just numbers), the add-on also supports uploading to even follow-ups so that you don't have to manually enter drops, and more functionality can be added as we go. Just want to give some notice before it happens, within the next couple days. This will not be the same add-on we used to run, but a new one. More details will follow!

Adding detection of StateBar (the wrapper CSS class for the login area at the top of guild pages) CSS rule for guilds using custom CSS. If it's not there, the rule will be added at render with properties that will make the display uniform to the site.

Fixing up some ContentTable css rules, so that if custom stylesheets do not specify a width, it is added automatically. The ContentTable is a relatively new class, and represents tabular, or grid-like, content within content boxes.
